1. Webshop catalogue
All our products that are available for sale online are listed in the catalogue page page of our webshop. These products can be sorted in different categories. Use the drop down menu on the page to sort the products based on their category or control the order in which the products are displayed. All products are displayed by a single image, a short description and the selling price including tax, but excluding shipping costs.
On this page you can either click on the image or the description of the product to find out more information about this item on the product page, or you can add the product directly to your virtual shopping cart by clicking on the “ADD TO CART” button below the description of the product.
2. Product page
The product page displays images and a detailed description of the product, as well as the stock status. The stock status displays if a product is in or out of stock. If it’s indicated that a product is out of stock, please contact us before placing your order. We will do our best to keep all our products in stock, but even so a product might run out of stock occasionally. This does not mean that the product is discontinued, every product listed in our catalogue should still be available.
The product page also displays the selling price including tax, but excluding shipping costs. Below the description of the product several other products available in our webshop are listed that might be of interest to you.
If you are willing to purchase the product you can click on the “ADD TO CART” button below the description of the product. The spinner next to this button controls the amount of product you want to order, by default this setting is set to 1 item. Clicking the “ADD TO CART” button after having set the desired amount will add the product(s) to your virtual shopping cart and will take you to the shopping cart page.
You can do this without any payment obligation, adding items to your cart only means you are opting to purchase the items in our webshop.
After adding the product(s) to your virtual shopping cart you can continue browsing our webshop and add other product(s) that you might like to your virtual shopping cart by following this same procedure.
3. Shopping cart page
The shopping cart page displays the product(s) your are opting on buying. It lists a short description and an image of the product(s), the selling price including tax but excluding shipping costs and the quantity of product(s) you are willing to purchase. You can modify the quantity by adjusting the number in the spinner, click on the “Update Cart” button to update the totals. You can also choose to delete a product from your cart completely by clicking on the red cross on the left side of the product. Based on your selection of products and their desired quantity the shopping cart calculates the total purchase price of your order.
If you have received a coupon code from us for a special discount you can enter this code in the “Coupon Code “ field. By clicking on the “Apply Coupon” button the shopping cart will apply the appropriate discount associated to your coupon code and recalculate the subtotals. This will only work if you have received a valid code and if the code is applicable to the selected products in your cart. The coupon codes released by Autoperforma are variable and might relate to:
- a certain discount type; a fixed amount or a percentage of the subtotal
- certain products only or a combination of certain products
- a certain quantity of products
- shipping costs
All coupon codes are subject to an expiry date clearly indicated on the coupon itself or at the time of release of the coupon.
Under “Cart Totals” you have the possibility to calculate the total purchase price of your order including shipping costs. By clicking on “Calculate Shipping” a drop down menu appears that allows you to select your country of origin and enter your postcode or ZIP. By clicking on the “Update Totals” button the Cart Totals will be updated. The total amount will be displayed including tax and shipping costs. Calculating the Cart Totals by entering your country of origin and postal code is still without and payment obligation. This is an optional step, you can also proceed to the checkout page directly where your definitive shipping costs will be calculated based on your billing address. The shipping costs depend on your location and the type of products
Products in your virtual shopping cart are reserved for you until you end your shopping session by either navigating away from the autoperforma.com domain or by closing your browser. During the session you can navigate away from the shopping cart page and return by clicking on the shopping cart icon in the top left of the header. This icon shows the total purchase price of your selection.
If you are happy with the contents of your shopping cart and would like to purchase the selected products you can click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button on the bottom of the page.
By clicking on the “Proceed to Checkout” button you only confirm that you are willing to purchase the products in your virtual shopping cart based on the calculated cart totals. Proceeding to the checkout page is still without payment obligation.
4. Checkout page
The checkout page is the page where you can submit your order. You will then subsequently be taken to our payment provider to pay for your order. Unlike the shopping cart page there is no direct option to change the contents of your order on this page. If you wish to do so, you need to return to the shopping cart page. On the checkout page the web application will calculate the definitive purchase price of your order.
If you have a valid coupon code as described in the previous paragraph, you can enter the code in the field that appears after clicking the “Click here to enter your code” button on the top of the page. You can validate your code by clicking on the “Apply Coupon” button. If your code is valid, the web application will automatically apply the associated discount to the total purchase price.
In the billing details section you should fill in your name, home address, e-mail address and telephone number. We will keep you informed about the process of your order by means of e-mail. If you wish to receive your order on a different address than your billing address, you can check the checkbox next to “Ship to a different address” and fill in the required fields that appear. If you have not specified a different shipping address here we will ship your order to your billing address. We will not use your personal information for any promotional activities, please read our Privacy Policy for more information.
The “Your order” section lists the order you are about to purchase. Please check if the information is correct before proceeding with the checkout. Once you have placed your order it is no longer possible to change your order. You can however still cancel your order afterwards as long as you have not received a shipping confirmation from us. Please check the FAQ and our Terms and Conditions for more information on cancelling your order and our 14 days withdrawal period. If you would like to modify the order before proceeding with the checkout you should return to the shopping cart page.
After confirming your order is correct you can select the payment method you would like to use. Before placing your order please take some time to read our Terms and Conditions that apply to the order you are about to place. After all you are about to enter in a legal agreement with Autoperforma so reading and understanding the legal conditions is in the best interest of both of us. Check the checkbox after having read and accept our Terms and Conditions to finalize your order.
If, for some reason, you can not or will not agree to our terms and conditions you can not complete our online checkout procedure since this requires you to agree to our terms and conditions. Our Terms and Conditions are in line with the most recent European guidelines and directives regarding the conduction of electronic commerce and offer a fair legal framework that protects your rights as a consumer. If however, for some reason you feel uncomfortable with these terms, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we will do our best to resolve any doubts that you might have.
By clicking on the “Place Order” button you confirm your order to us and hereby enter in the legal agreement with Autoperforma as described in the Terms and Conditions. This means you are accepting a payment obligation to pay for your order.
5. Payment
The actual payment will take place through a secure third party payment gateway from our payment provider. Proceed with your payment by following the instructions from the selected payment method. After your payment you will be redirected to the Autoperforma homepage. If the payment is successful you will see an order confirmation with all the details of your order and payment.
In case the payment was unsuccessful or cancelled on your request, you will be taken to a page that displays your order status as “payment cancelled”. From this page you can access our webshop and repeat the ordering process to fulfil your order. If you suspect the failed payment is due to technical problems with our webshop please get in touch with us.
6. Delivery
If your payment is successful you will also receive an order confirmation by e-mail. From this moment on we will process your order and prepare it for shipment. We will process your order as fast as possible, but no later than within 3 working days after the receipt of your order.
Once we have shipped your order you will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail with a track & trace code to inform you about the estimated delivery date of your order. Please make sure your order can be delivered on the estimated delivery date and time. Depending on your region, our carrier estimates the following delivery times:
- Netherlands: 1-2 days
- Europe 1: 2-5 days
- Europe 2: 3-7 days
- Europe 3: 3-10 days
- Worldwide: 5-14 days
Express delivery is only available on special request, please contact us if you are in a hurry to receive your order!
If our carrier is not able to deliver the order at the delivery address provided by you after two attempts, our carrier will leave a message stating where the package is located and in what way and within what period you can pick it up. Delivery has taken place and the products are deemed to be delivered after receipt of the goods at the agreed delivery address is signed for. If for some reason the shipment can not be delivered we reserve the right to ship your order back to us. Upon the return of your order we will refund you your purchase price, minus the costs for the return shipment.
